Want to Learn More?? Presentations Are Now Available!!
Did you know that the Fireboat E.M. Cotter Conservancy offers an Educational and Informational presentation to local Community and Senior groups to learn more about our local Historic Landmark, the 119 year old Fireboat E. M. Cotter?
We have a 30 minute video and speaker presentation, as well as a companion presentation for our partner group, the Buffalo Fire Historical Museum. We will provide the speaker, videos, screens, and brochures and you provide the room and an electrical connection.
These presentations highlight the history of the Buffalo Fire Department and the changes to the waterfront over many years and include a video tour of the Fireboat, top to bottom. Sure to interest everyone!
If you would like more information or to make arrangements for groups, please contact Mr. Ronald Endle, Conservancy Vice President at 716-479-4186 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you.
Erie County Fair - 2020
As long as the Erie County Fair is not cancelled, we are still planning on being at the Fireman's Building during the 2020 Erie County Fair from August 12 - August 23, 2020.
While we are still hoping to be able to hold our upcoming events the possibility that we may need to cancel them remains. We are still planning on being at the Erie County Fair from August 12th - 23rd in the Fireman’s Building with our display, holding our annual Boat Ride auction and continuing our speaker’s presentations.
We are also currently working on holding a 120th Birthday celebration for the Cotter when the current situation allows us to do so.
Please continue to check this site for updates. Stay safe and be well.
